Greensboro, NC -- T.J. Holman had 20 points on 10-11 shooting as Greensboro College defeated Covenant, 74-55, on Tuesday night. GC improved to 6-5 and CC dropped to 2-12.
Adam Powell had 11 points and Daren Dexter added 10 for the home team. Dexter also had nine assists, five rebounds and three steals.
The Pride forced 25 Scot turnovers and shot well from the field. GC was 33-64 (52-percent) shooting. It was Greensboro's second straight and fifth time this year shooting 50-percent or better.
Callum Sears had 17 points and made five 3-pointers for Covenant. The Scots led in rebounds 36-34.
GC led 45-30 at halftime and led by as many as 22 points in the contest.
The Pride hosts Averett to open conference play on Saturday at 4 p.m.
