Ozarks (2-2) dominated all phases of the game, including out rebounding Rhema 48-31, and got a strong performance off the bench from Marcus Bobb. Ozarks rode the hot hand of Andre Williams early on as he hit 3-of-4 from beyond the arc and scored 15 first half points. Williams hit all three of his shots from long range in the first seven minutes of the game. His third gave Ozarks a 20-5 lead. The Eagles never trailed in the contest, and at the 7:45 mark of the first half built a 33-12 lead. Rhema (0-8) made a run to end the half trailing 40-30. Ozarks then gained a 49-33 advantage at the 17:23 mark of the second half. Things wouldn't get any easier for Rhema as Ozarks eventually built a 20-point lead with eight minutes remaining. The Eagles never let their lead slip below 20 points the rest of the way.
Williams scored a game-high 22 points. Bobb recorded a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds). Shawn Curtis added 13 points and seven boards.
