"We played better," said Carthage coach Bosko Djurickovic, "but it was a brutally difficult game to play. There was no flow, whatsoever. Pacific is a hustling, hard-nosed and competitive basketball team, and we don't look as crisp as we need to. We have to execute better. We have to do a better job of shooting, especially our three-point shooting. If we shot 13-of-26 from three-point range, instead of four-of-26, we win this game by 30 points. The fact that we were four-of-26 extends this bloody game to the final 25 seconds. Hope College and Calvin College present some challenges next week. We have to break that down and get done what we need to get done."
