The Millikin men's basketball team lost its season opener to Nebraska Wesleyan 74-51 at Webster University in St. Louis on November 19.

            Nebraska Wesleyan hit on 50 percent of its shots including 38 percent from three point land.  Millikin struggled shooting wise hitting only 35 percent of its shot.  Millikin got out rebounded 39-26.

            Millikin's top scorer was Derron Wooten with 14 points.  Freshman Logan Schneider had eight rebounds.

            Nebraska Wesleyan got 28 points and 11 rebounds from Dylan Aylward.

Millikin will host Franklin on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m.
