Tufts blocks Tommies out of tourney
St. Thomas led 53-41 with five minutes to go in the game, but Tufts had one last run in them, finishing 19-4 the rest of the way to win and advance to the national championship game. The Jumbos will face Amherst, which cruised past CNU. Full semifinal wrapups.

Four book return trips to semifinals
At halftime, one of the games was close, but by the end, there were four clear victors in the Division III women's basketball national quarterfinals, and only two unbeaten teams remaining for the 2017 season.
