Temaine Wright, who coached at Schreiner for five seasons, will be the next women's basketball head coach for the Tigers, replacing Jack Bruns.
University Director of Athletics Derek Zander announced the hire via release.
"We are thrilled to be have Temaine join Tiger Athletics and lead the women's basketball program. Throughout the hiring process, the passion and overall experience that he has was evident. I am excited to get him on campus and look forward to seeing what the future holds for IW women's basketball," Zander stated in the release.
Wright will get his second chance as a head coach of a Division III women's basketball program. He was the head coach for Schreiner in Kerrville, Texas from 2013 through 2018. He went 58-78 in those five seasons with the Mountaineers with his first season being the best. Schreiner went 15-12 and reached the SCAC tournament semifinals after years of single-digit wins. That remains the program's record for victories.

Wright spent last season as an assistant on Justin LeBlanc's staff at Millsaps. The Majors went 22-5 last season.
He replaces Jack Bruns who went 9-38, 7-25 in the SLIAC in his two seasons as the Tigers' head coach.
