SUNY Delhi coach to St. Joseph's (L.I..)

After helping SUNY Delhi get ready for NCAA Division III membership, Vicki Andruszkiewicz is leaving the school to become the new head coach at St. Joseph's (L.I.).

St. Joseph's announced the hiring on Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Andruszkiewicz was the head women's basketball and softball coach at SUNY Delhi the past three seasons. She was named the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) Coach of the Year in basketball last season when she led the Broncos to a 17-13 record. SUNY Delhi is starting its first year of NCAA Division III provisional membership.

Previously Andruszkiewicz was an assistant coach at Randolph for two seasons and Mass-Dartmouth where she played for four seasons. She earned her bachelor's degree from Mass-Dartmouth in 2009 and her master's degree from Florida State in 2013.

She takes over for Kelley Watts who went 18-57 in three seasons with the Golden Eagles, including a 5-20 finish last season.
