Gabby Johnson sideline shot The Dominican University department of athletics announced on Monday morning that Gabby Johnson has resigned from her position as the head women's basketball coach and assistant sports information director at the university. In leaving Dominican, Johnson has accepted a role with the women's basketball program at NCAA Division I Valparaiso.

That role was not specified.

The 14 wins matched Dominican's win total from the previous five seasons combined. Under Johnson, Dominican went 28-122.

Sophomore Timiya Ray garnered an All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference first team selection as the Stars narrowly missed out on their first NACC tournament appearance since 2012.
