After a successful five-year coaching career at Cal Lutheran, Roy Dow has stepped down as the head women’s basketball coach.

Under his tutelage, Dow led the Regals to an 81-51 overall record between 2008-13 with back-to-back Division III NCAA Tournament appearances in 2012 and 2013, three Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament appearances and a SCIAC title.

Dow has been named head women's coach at Division II Pfeiffer, a team which reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season. Cal Lutheran assistant Jordan Franey followed him to Pfeiffer.
