Shante Jones started her college basketball career at Division I Iowa, 956 miles west of Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. At that time Nate Davis was coaching at Division II South Carolina-Aiken, 670 miles south of Eastern. A couple years later they were connected through a mutual friend and came to an Eagles program that won just 10 games the prior three seasons combined. This is the story of how they are invigorating women's basketball at Eastern.
