McNeese would extend its lead to five points twice in the next three minutes and held a 50-45 lead with 4:56 left. Louisiana College went on another run and outscored the Cowgirls 6-0 to take its only lead of the half at 51-50 on a layup by La'Canjala Latin and back-to-back layups by Brasher with 1:27 left in regulation.
