Drexel has hired Rowan women's head coach Candace Crabtree as its new head coach.

Kevin Murphy resigned from the Philadelphia Division I school after leading the Dragons to a 10-20 record and a loss in the second round of the America East conference tournament. Murphy was 55-87 in five seasons.

Crabtree posted a 171-25 in seven seasons, including a berth in the Elite Eight in 1996 and 2000 and the Final Four in 1998.
