The scoop on our honorees:
Rowan senior guard Jenn Denby had a key role in the Profs' 85-82 double-overtime win against Rutgers-Newark, with free throws that tied the game in regulation and driving the length of the court to hit a jumper that sent the game into the second extra period. Denby averaged 28 points and 13.4 rebounds for the week while shooting 24-for-30 from the field.
DePauw's Kelly Morrison, right, shot 8-for-11 from 3-point range and scored 47 points in 47 minutes of action over two games. The junior was also a perfect 9-for-9 from the line.
Wooster's Katie Montague averaged 26.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and two blocked shots. She also added five steals and shot 15-for-18 from the line over the two games.
Laurie Miller led Eastern Mennonite to a 2-1 week, scoring 87 points and pulling down 35 rebounds, including a season-high 37 points against Randolph-Macon Woman's College. The senior forward had double-digit rebounds in all three games.
Center Amy Kleinwachter recorded her second triple-double, averaging 18.5 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocked shots per game in two Millikin victories. The sophomore shot 16-for-21 from the floor.
Tufts' Brian Skerry leads off the men's team. The senior guard averaged 21.3 points, 8.7 assists and 3.3 steals for the Jumbos. He stole the ball with two seconds left in the game last Friday and heaved a half-court shot into the basket for a stunning 94-91 win at Hamilton.
Sophomore guard Rob Makarewicz more than made up for some injuries in the Susquehanna lineup, averaging 24 points over two games while shooting 7-for-15 from 3-point range and adding 4.5 rebounds.
Dickinson's Nate Brought was definitely on target, shooting 31-for-40 from the floor and setting a gymnasium record with 36 points at home against King's. The senior added seven rebounds per contest.
Simpson junior Nathan Ackerman scored 75 points in only 75 minutes over three games. He blocked five shots and pulled down 25 rebounds for the Storm.
Muhlenberg junior Jim Doumato rounds out the squad. He averaged 20 points in three games as the Mules went 3-0 to take over first place in the Centennial Conference East Division. Doumato averaged 10.3 rebounds per game and shot 23-for-31 from the floor.
