Saturday women: Turn back the clock
The calendar flipped to 2026 earlier this week, but Saturday felt a lot like 2025, as No. 3 UW-Oshkosh defeated No. 10 UW-Whitewater and Gustavus Adolphus knocked off No. 19 Bethel. Plus, No. 9 Hope sent its large crowd home happy with a win over Calvin, and Anderson did something for the first time in more than a dozen years.

Randall Ties Career High with 29 as #7 Mary Washington Men Top Swarthmore, 70-49
Junior forward Jay Randall continued his stellar play with a career high-tying 29 points and nine rebounds, as the seventh-ranked University of Mary Washington men's basketball team scored a 70-49 victory over Swarthmore College on Tuesday evening at Ron Rosner Arena. The Eagles improve to 13-1 on the season.

CORTLAND, N.Y. - Nolan Raymond (Queens Village/Vermont Academy (VT)) scored 12 of his game-high 16 points in the second half as Cortland knocked off visiting Fredonia, 70-51, in a SUNYAC men's basketball contest.

Rochester Men’s Hoops Drops Close Matchup with RIT
HENRIETTA, NY – Four players scored in double-figures, led by senior Tomiwa Adetosoye’s 30 points, but the University of Rochester men’s basketball team saw its non-conference schedule wrap up with an 87-83 loss at the hands of host Rochester Institute of Technology on Tuesday evening at Clark Gymnasium.

Torrid Start Aids No. 25 WPI in Victory Over Middlebury
WORCESTER -- Nathan Bledsoe registered a game-high 22 points and hauled in a team-best nine rebounds and Justin Molen added 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor to help nationally-ranked WPI men’s basketball defeat visiting Middlebury 85-57 on Tuesday evening inside Harrington Auditorium.

Eastern Conn Drops Second Straight at Home
WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – The Eastern Connecticut State University men’s basketball team succeeded in keeping Little East Conference free throw leader Nic Boyd of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from reaching the foul line, but little else went right Tuesday evening as the Warriors dropped their second conference decision in four days, 94-82, at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium.

Eastern Conn's King Wins 300th Career Game
WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – Four players combined for 28 third-quarter points as the Eastern Connecticut State University women’s basketball team erased a nine-point halftime deficit in securing a 79-71 victory Tuesday night at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium over defending Little East Conference tournament champion University of Massachusetts Dartmouth that presented first-year head coach Mandy King with the 300th victory of her 23-year head coaching career.

(1/6/2026) - The Nichols College women's basketball team faced the Wentworth Institute of Technology Leopards at home on Tuesday, marking their first game at home since before the break. The Bison surged past the Leopards to secure their highest win margin of the season since the start of the season at Dean College (11/8) in their 75-48 win over WIT.
