    LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA – After winning an overtime thriller last night at Maryville, the WPU men's basketball team didn't quite have enough in the tank this afternoon at Covenant. The Pacers had their chances at the end of the game which saw eight ties and 10 lead changes, but the Scots did just enough to hold on, 63-59.

    GREENSBORO, NC – For the third consecutive year, the William Peace men's basketball team will contend for the Guilford College Invitational championship trophy after topping Virginia University of Lynchburg in their season opener. The Pacers led by 18 at halftime, jumped ahead by as many as 26 in the second half, and went on to down the Dragons, 99-81.
