In his first year with East Texas Baptist, Edsel Hamilton coached the Tigers to a 17-10 mark. But in Year Two, the car ran off the road. And after a 3-22 season, the school is looking for another women's basketball head coach.

The school did not post a news release. However, the university posted a job listing on its site.

Hamilton was one of two Baylor assistants hired by American Southwest Conference schools before the 2015-16 season. The other, Mark Morefield, has led Mary Hardin-Baylor to an 18-8 record this season, entering the ASC tournament semifinals.
