Whitworth guard Kenny Love and George Fox post player Justine Benner were named the Most Outstanding Players of the D3hoops.com Classic, while Calvin gained a split on the final day and ruined St. Vincent College's chances of going 5-0 at the event.

St. Vincent sent both its men's and women's basketball teams to the D3hoops.com Classic, and they came within one game of pulling off a complete sweep. On Wednesday, the women defeated La Verne to go 2-0 in Las Vegas, but the men lost in the tournament finale, 77-66 to Calvin. Jordan Daley scored a game-high 20 points and Nate Drews came off the bench to add 17 on 5-for-8 shooting from downtown to pace the Knights, who improved to 5-6. Jasmine Weems and Mara Benvenuti each scored 14 points for the Bearcat women as St. Vincent rallied from a fourth-quarter deficit to win 68-61.

No. 2 Whitworth improved to 11-0 on the season, rallying to defeat Mary Hardin-Baylor 68-58. The Pirates, who were down by six with 10 minutes to go, outscored the Crusaders (3-6) 26-10 the rest of the way for the win. Kenny Love and Christian Jurlina each scored 15 to lead the Pirates.

UW-Stout gained a split at the 2015 D3hoops.com Classic as well, as Jalen Patterson scored 15 points in 17 minutes off the bench and the depth of the Blue Devils shone through in a 63-62 win vs. Skidmore. The Blue Devils had the game in hand late but nearly coughed it up by shooting just 18-for-33 from the foul line. However, Skidmore couldn't get a good look at a shot at the final buzzer.
