February 22, 2025 WBB: Fantastic finish for Jays Elizabethtown finished the regular season by upsetting undefeated Scranton while Colby and Trinity (Conn.) opened the NESCAC tourney with double-overtime victories. Elsewhere, two programs played their final games ever and UW-Stout saw its roller coaster season take another turn. Read about it here.
February 3, 2024 Saturday run stoppers No. 13 Scranton stopped Catholic’s undefeated run through the regular season while Colby pulled CBB rival Bates back to the pack in the NESCAC and Ohio Wesleyan topped NCAC leader DePauw.
February 18, 2022 Two down, 126 to go The only conference that awards its automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament via regular season play did so on Friday night when New York University won the UAA women's title and Emory won the men's title. Elsewhere, the NESCAC and WIAC tournaments tipped off with upsets.
July 15, 2019 Colby picks D1 assistant to lead women Colby named Chenel Harris-Smith as its new head women's basketball coach. This will be her first foray into Division III basketball after playing and coaching at the D1 level.
