LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team led nearly wire-to-wire in cruising to a sixth consecutive win by besting Concordia Chicago.

With the contest even at 5-5, Alex Fanning converted on a three-point play and Sara Smith hit a three to make the lead 11-5, igniting an 8-0 run capped with a Brilan McCory jumper
Leading 13-6 after one, Benedictine opened things up with a 10-0 run to start the second
The lead reached 31 early in the quarter and extended to 39 in the final two minutes enabling Benedictine to run away
