The top-ranked Hope College women's basketball team became the fifth NCAA Division III team to reach 60 consecutive wins on Monday with a 96-31 win against Olivet College at DeVos Fieldhouse.

The Flying Dutch equaled Capital University (Ohio) for the fourth-longest winning streak in Division III women's basketball team. Capital won 60 games in a row between 1994 and 1995.

Hope's winning streak is the longest active winning streak in all of NCAA Basketball.

Against Olivet, the Flying Dutch improved to 15-0 this season and 7-0 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association behind a stifling defensive effort. Hope set a DeVos Fieldhouse record with 31 turnovers and forced 47 turners.

Hope never trailed after jumping out to a 22-2 first-quarter lead. The Flying Dutch did not yield a basket until 1 minutes, 22 seconds remained in the first quarter.

Junior Savannah Feenstra led a balanced Hope offense with 13 points off the bench. Senior Olivia Voskuil chipped in 11 points, a team-high five rebounds and three steals.

The Flying Dutch's next game is Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Saint Mary's College. Hope looks to match the third-place, 61-game winning streak by Thomas More College (Ky.) from 2015 to 2017.
