Steubenville, Ohio – Bethany College women's basketball team cruised to a 70-33 victory over the Franciscan Barons to open up Presidents' Athletic Conference play Wednesday evening inside Finnegan Fieldhouse.
GAME FLOW
- Bethany's Alexis Heap scored the first point of the night for the Bison.
- Makenzee Mason scored the Bison's first field goal on the night at the 8:05 mark to give the Bison a 3-0 lead.
- After a Lindsey Garrison three, the Bison led 16-6 at the end of the first stanza.
- The Bison went on an 11-2 run to start the second quarter and continued to build their lead by as many as 23.
- Bethany led 36-15 at the intermission.
