The Wolves came out on Tuesday attacking from deep. Threes by Killian Mahoney (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Canandaigua Academy) and Sydney Brown gave Keuka an early 8-3 advantage. The Pioneers scored six straight to take the lead from Keuka, but after the first, the game would be tied at 11-11.

Alfred State increased the defense against the Wolves. Between the end of the first and the start of the second, Keuka was held scoreless for nearly eight minutes. However, the Pioneers could not pull away as they only built their lead to 17-11. A three by Lauren Hill snapped the run. She then hit a second on the next possession to tie the game at 17-17. The lead would change hands five times in the frame, but it would be Alfred State who held the advantage at the end as the Pioneers led 27-24 at the half.

Runs defined the third quarter. The teams traded baskets early, but a three by Sydney Brown cut the margin to one at 31-30 and sparked a run for the Wolves. Over the next 2:33, threes were hit by Hill and Amelia Poole (Bloomfield, N.Y. / Bloomfield). Poole added a layup as the Wolves scored 11 unanswered to build a 38-31 lead. The momentum and run would flip to Alfred State, however. Following Poole's layup at 5:58, Alfred State held Keuka off the board and went on their own 11-point run to take a 42-38 lead into the final quarter.

Alfred State scored the first basket of the fourth, but a jumper by Sydney Brown ended the run. Keuka College would cut the lead down to three with 6:50 left following a bucket by Julia Bauder (Cazenovia, N.Y. / Cazenovia). Minutes later, Hill found Ellen Lavonas (Brighton, N.Y. / Brighton) down low for a lay-in to make it 48-47, but Alfred State went on an 8-1 run to regain control of the game. The Pioneers would see the game out, defeating Keuka College 67-54.
