The top-ranked Hope College women's basketball team moved to 2-0 on the season with a 94-41 win over the University Mount Union (Ohio) in the championship game of the Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday at DeVos Fieldhouse.

The Flying Dutch averaged 98 points over their first two games after netting 104 during Friday's win against Edgewood College (Wisconsin).

Forward Olivia Voskuil (Holland Christian) was selected as Tournament MVP. The senior was joined on the six-member, all-tournament team by teammates Savannah Feenstra and Sydney Muller.

Against Mount Union (2-1), Hope grabbed control of the game quickly, leading 22-9 after the first quarter.

The Flying Dutch went on to tally 41 of their points off of Mount Union turnovers.

Junior Ella McKinney led the orange and blue with 14 points. The Haslett, Michigan native (Haslett HS), shot 3-of-5 from 3-point range.

Two other players scored in double-digits:; Feenstra (Osceola, Indiana / Northwood) with 11 points and three 3-pointers, and Muller (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Grand Rapids Christian with 10 points)

Voskuil finished with nine points, four rebounds, three blocks and two assists.

"Voskuil is just playing with a calm presence right now, and you can just feel how comfortable she is," head coach Brian Morehouse said. "She had two assists out of the low post today, and so she's comfortable making the pass."

"Sydney just had an overall great game, she impacts it in so many ways, just one of the best passers that I've ever coached. She has an elite feel for the game."

"It's great to see Savannah get rewarded today by playing really well," Morehouse said. "She's playing with a lot of confidence, attacking the rim, shooting the ball at a high level, and she's a tough matchup."

The Flying Dutch's next game is Friday-Saturday, Nov. 19-20, at the Hope Tournament at DeVos Fieldhouse. Hope will play Finlandia University on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and No. 21-ranked Baldwin Wallace College (Ohio) on Saturday at 3 p.m.
