Burnett Sets School Single-Game Assists Mark in 87-57 Win at Rosemont

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Freshman Kayla Burnett dished out a school record 15 assists to lead the Centenary University women's basketball team to an 87-57 win at Rosemont College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play on Wednesday night. Burnett's 15 assists in tonight's game broke Miki Bodino's school single-game record of 13 helpers that came during the 1992-93 season.

"Kayla is a very talented and unselfish freshman," said head coach Rose Haller. "She is capable of doing a lot for this team and needs to demand that of herself."

The Cyclones found themselves down 6-2 with 6:45 to go in the first quarter after a pair of early three-pointers by the Ravens.
