NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's basketball team dropped a Skyline Conference contest to the College at Old Westbury, 104-53, at the Wellness Center on Tuesday evening. The Panthers advance to 11-4 in the Skyline (18-4 overall), while the Maccabees drop to 3-11 in the conference (6-14 overall).

Junior forward Tehilla Teigman scored 14 points for the Maccabees, while grabbing eight rebounds and forcing two steals. Senior guard Nicole Bick scored 12 points, dished out a pair of assists, and had just as many steals. Fourth-year forward Michal Alge produced 11 points, brought down four rebounds, distributed three assists, and collected two steals.

The Panthers led from wire-to-wire. A successful jump shot by sophomore forward Lindsay Brandwein pulled the Maccabees to within 10, at 28-18, with 8:05 remaining in the opening half. However, Old Westbury went on an 8-2 run to take a commanding lead. Yeshiva could not generate a consistent rally to get back into the game.

Brandwein scored four points with three rebounds to pace the Macs, while junior forward Ellie Parker brought down a career-best six rebounds to go along with four points. Sophomore guard Chana Boltax scored three points with two boards, while classmate Leah Shulman and junior guard Rachel Kahen each scored two points. The latter grabbed a rebound and forced a steal. Senior guard Penny Rabin grabbed three boards and added a free throw.

For the Panthers, junior center Davida Warren led all players with 22 points and brought down six caroms. Sophomore center Alessia Drevnyak added 20 points, clutched five rebounds, and blocked four shots, while senior center Charlotte Renker notched a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Yeshiva will compete against St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, in a Skyline Conference matchup at the Hill Center on Thursday, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
