The 11th-ranked Hope College women's basketball team started a rare three-game week with a performance that shared minutes and points.

The Flying Dutch soared to a 93-34 victory against Kalamazoo College on Monday at DeVos Fieldhouse.

All 17 Hope players scored in the makeup game from the January 30 postponement. No one played more 16 minutes for the Flying Dutch, who improved to 18-3 overall and 10-2 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.

Hope's next game is Wednesday, February 6 — its 123rd game in The Rivalry against Calvin College. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse.

Sophomore Sydney Muller of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grand Rapids Christian HS) topped Hope against Kalamazoo with 11 points.

Muller scored all of her points during the first two quarters as the Flying Dutch raced to a 42-15 halftime lead.

Muller and Hope's other starters cheered enthusiastically as Hope's bench combined for 53 points.

"Sometimes I think our starters are more excited when people on the bench score," a proud head coach Brian Morehouse said. "I think that's a sign of really good leaders, really good players, and really good teammates."

The Flying Dutch shared collecting rebounds and finished with 65, their second-highest total of the season.

Fifteen different Hope players grabbed at least one rebound. Freshman Hannah Smith of Midland, Michigan (Midland) set a career high with 10 rebounds.

On defense, the Flying Dutch banded together to yield winless Kalamazoo five points in both the second and fourth quarters.
