Benedictine Women Hold Off Aurora to Advance

LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team held off visiting sixth-seeded Aurora University in the opening round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament to move on to the semifinals.

Aurora was able to pull within five points twice at 63-58 and again at 69-64 with 1:15 to play, but could pull no closer

Benedictine (18-8) will meet second-seeded Concordia Wisconsin in the first NACC Tournament semifinal on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wis. at Wisconsin Lutheran. The teams split the regular season meetings with each winning at home.
