The Baruch College Bearcats suffered an 80-57 loss at home on Tuesday night against Lehman College.

The Bearcats were down by seven at the end of the first period, but turned things around at the end of the second period as they cut the deficit to just four points (34-30).

The visiting Lighting started the third period by scoring the first 11 points and that proved pivotal en route to the conference win.

Shannon Barrett led the way with another double-double, scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Melinda Spahiu totaled 14 points with four steals and four assists. Daniela Arias had 13 points and four assists.

Six of the seven Lighting players that played scored in double-figures.
