LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team led wire-to-wire in moving to 5-0 in the NACC.

• Alena Moro scored the first points of the game on a second chance opportunity just over a minute into the contest to give Benedictine a 2-0 lead
• The opening quarter remained close, with Benedictine gaining the largest edge at 14-9 on a second-chance basket with 1:06 left in the frame
• Roxanna Gaddis splashed home a three-pointer to begin a 7-0 run early in the second
• Georgia Alexakos capped the run with a layup, making the score 23-13 with 7:06 to go in the half
• The largest lead of the half came on a D'Asia Williams bucket with 3:40 remaining, making the score 28-15
• Benedictine led 30-19 at the break but Dominican did not go away, fighting within six points early in the third
• Four consecutive points quickly pushed the lead to double digits again and Benedictine led by as many as 12 in the quarter, finishing on a layup from Allison Michalski with 34 seconds left to lead 53-41 after three
• A Casey Williams basket early in the fourth allowed Benedictine to take a 56-42 lead, largest of the game
• Dominican whittled the margin down to just five points but could get no closer as Benedictine held on for the victory
• Benedictine held a commanding 51-37 edge on the glass and reeled in 17 offensive boards, leading to 16 second-chance points
• Benedictine shot 50 percent in the second half and finished at 43.3 percent for the game
• The contest featured a combined 55 free throws
• D'Asia Williams led all scorers with 21 points while Alexakos contributed 13 along with seven rebounds
• 11 different players scored in the game
• Moro grabbed nine rebounds
