ARLINGTON, Va. – For the fourth-straight game, the No. 23 Marymount women's basketball team coasted to a 20-plus point victory, dropping York College of Pennsylvania, 68-47, to remain untouched in Capital Athletic Conference play.

The Saints (7-1, 4-0 CAC), who are riding high on a seven-game win streak, came out hot in the game with a quick 10-2 run in the opening three minutes. The Spartans (6-2, 3-1 CAC) worked for the first two points of the game, but quickly erased, as the 10-2 run stirred up an advantage that remained in Marymount's favor throughout.

Although the second quarter was an even 15-15, the Saints carried a 36-31 lead into the locker room. Behind 50-percent shooting, sophomore Regan Lohr and senior Nicole Viscuso were consistent on the offensive end with nine and eight points, respectively, while sophomore Gabriella Haddad dominated the glass for eight rebounds.

In the second half, the Saints defense controlled the full 20 minutes, only allowing the Spartans to score 16 points.

For the game, Marymount forced 24 total York turnovers and converted them into 21 points. Once again dominating inside, 46 of the 68 points by the Saints were scored in the paint led by a season- and game-high 19 points by Viscuso who went 7-for-14 for the day.

Junior Tyffani McQueen pieced together another stellar performance, tying a career high in scoring with 17 points (7-9 FG), while adding a game-high five steals, five rebounds and two assists.

Haddad finished the game with a game-high 10 rebounds, while senior Leah Hurst dished out a game-high five assists and chipped in three steals. Hurst currently leads the CAC in assists (41) and steals (27), while Haddad (66.7%) and McQueen (56.2) sit in the top two spots in the league in shooting percentage.

The Saints now sit as just one of two teams left in the CAC that remain untouched in league play, as No. 2 Christopher Newport sits at 3-0 after having a bye this weekend. The two are set to faceoff after the winter break in Arlington on January 6.

Marymount will take a break from league play for three-straight non-conference matchups. Next up is Stevenson University on Monday, November 18 on the Saints' home court in the Verizon Sports Arena. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
