WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Hood College women's basketball team ran into a Lycoming squad that hit over 50 percent from the field as the Blazers fell 86-67 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

- Dajah Gee tied for game-high honors with 17 points in the game, including three 3-pointers.
- Taylor McGaughey added 11 points and Ebony Pitt had 10.

How it Happened
- The Warriors went 12 of 18 shooting in the first quarter (67 percent) to take a 25-15 lead. Gee had 10 of her 17 points as she tried to keep Hood (3-3, 1-1) within striking distance. The Blazers struggled from the floor in the second quarter as Lycoming led 45-30 at the half.
- Allie Appleby pulled the Blazers with 12, 57-45, with 50 seconds left in the third, but Hailey Dayton's 3-pointer stretched the deficit back to 15 entering the final quarter.
- Hood pulled within 10 on three occasions in the fourth quarter and trailed just 76-66 after two more foul shots by Appleby with 3:17 on the game clock. The Warriors responded with a 10-1 run to end the game.
Notes
- Kayla Kline came off the bench for 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block. Shelby Mueller added 16 points and 11 rebounds. Dayton came off the bench for 13 as the Warrior reserves outscored Hood's 28-18.
- Lycoming shot 51 percent from the field, while the Blazers connected on just 31 percent. Hood used a 7 of 18 (39 percent) effort from 3-point range to stay close.
- The Blazers went 20 of 27 at the charity stripe (74 percent), but Lycoming sank all 10 of its tries.
