Ithaca dominated the second quarter, holding the lead until a layup from Caroline Robertson with one minute left tied the game at 24-24 heading into halftime.

The second half was a back-and-forth battle, with neither team holding a permanent lead. Ithaca owned the biggest lead of the third quarter at just four points.

Mary Kate Cusack would hit a 3-pointer with 20 seconds left in the third period to send Fisher into the final quarter up 41-40.

The Bombers took a 59-57 lead with just under four seconds left, forcing Fisher to take a timeout and giving the Cardinals the ball at midcourt, under the new NCAA rules.

Bezon inbounded the ball to Piacentini, who caught it at the top of the key, stepped back and swished the 25-footer as the horn sounded. (Listen To Gene Battaglia make the call on ESPN Rochester).
