Yeshiva's Alge Has Career Night Against Mount Saint Vincent

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's basketball team dropped its Skyline Conference contest to Mount Saint Vincent, 77-44, at the Peter Jay Sharp Center on Wednesday evening.
 
The Dolphins (12-8, 9-3 Skyline) jumped out to a 14-2 lead and never looked back.
 
The Maccabees (0-16, 0-11 Skyline) were led by sophomore forward Michal Alge, who tied a career-high with 16 points and grabbed 19 rebounds, which are the most in her collegiate career. She also dished out a team-high three assists. Senior forward Rachel Mirsky produced 10 points with seven rebounds, while classmate Julia Owen added eight points. Senior guard Ester Kerznerpulled down seven boards.
 
Yeshiva will be back in action on Saturday, for a Skyline contest against St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn. Tip-off is slated for 8:30 p.m. at Baruch College.
