Oberlin, Ohio - Claire Ryan's career-high 17 points led DePauw to a 69-40 North Coast Athletic Conference win at Oberlin. The Tigers improved to 14-6 overall and 8-3 in the NCAC, while theYeowomen dropped to 10-10 overall and 4-7 in conference play.

Oberlin scored the game's first two points, but DePauw scored the next seven and never trailed from that point. The Tigers hit 10-of-14 first-quarter field goal tries and built a 23-13 lead at the quarter break.

DePauw scored the first six of the second period and extended the lead to 29-13. The Tigers led by as many as 23 in the quarter before heading to the halftime with a 41-20 advantage.

The Yeowomen scored seven straight in the third to trim DePauw's lead to 46-29, but the Tigers closed the period with a 6-2 run to grab a 52-31 lead entering the final stanza.

The hosts were still within 19 with just over six minutes to play, but the Tigers scored the next seven and closed the contest with an 11-1 stretch and held Oberlin without a field goal over the final six minutes.

Ryan's 17 points paced the Tigers as did her four steals. Emily Budde followed with 13 and Colleen Connors 10, while Abby Keller grabbed seven rebounds and Jenna Stoner handed out three assists.

Anna Moore led Oberlin with 10 points with Tyler Parlor hauling down a game-high nine rebounds and Caroline Hamilton dishing out five assists.

DePauw shot 44.4 percent from the floor and hit 6-of-13 3-pointers, while the Yeowomenconnected on just 37.8 percent from the floor.

Oberlin outrebounded DePauw 31-30, but the Tigers held a 15-7 advantage in second-chance points thanks to 16 offensive rebounds. The Tigers committed just eight turnovers to theYeowomen's 28 for a 35-4 points-off-turnovers edge. 

The 40 points allowed marked the 11th time this season DePauw held an opponent under 50.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, February 5, when they host Allegheny at 8 p.m.
