How It Happened
- The Ravens fell behind early, but never trailed by more than two. After the Highanders tied the game at 6-6 with 4:36 left in the first quarter, Rosemont finished the half on an 11-0 run to take control of the game, leading 17-6 at the first break.
- Rosemont would keep applying the pressure to the Highlanders, upping their lead to sixteen points, 26-10 after a trey from Ayanna Thompson. Ahead by 15 points, the Ravens would again be strong down the stretch of the second quarter, extending a 28-13 lead to a 38-15 lead just before the half that saw the Ravens into the locker room ahead by 20, 38-18.
- A three-pointer from Jasmyn Parker would extend the Ravens' to their largest lead of the game, 51-22 with 4:44 remaining in the 3rd quarter. Rosemont would outscore Cairn 18-14 in the frame.
- The Ravens continued their control of the game in the final quarter. Another three-pointer from Thompson would give the Ravens a 39-point bulge, leading 82-43 with less than two minutes remaining.
Ravens' Top Performers
- Rookie Alliya Austin scored a career-high 22 points on 10-for-14 shooting from the field. Austin also reeled in nine rebounds to just miss a double-double.
- Nadirah Anderson scored 12 and had 12 boards to claim a double-double.
- Ayanna Thompson shot 6-for-12 from the field, including 4-for-9 from deep to score 17.
- Jasmyn Parker added 11 points.
For the Highlanders
- Kendra Stum led Cairn in scoring with 14 points.
- Amie Eppolito scored 10.
- Payton Emerick had 10 defensive rebounds (11 overall) to have a big day in the paint.
