Off grabs third double-double in loss

HAMBURG, NY—Women's basketball fell to Hilbert College 64-46 despite sophomore McKaylee Croll's (Perry, NY/Perry) strong performance on the road.
 
Croll led the Saxons with 18 points, three rebounds and an assist while junior Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) chimed in with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  The performance is Off's third double-double of the young season.
 
Katelyn Proy paced the Hawks with 20 points on 10-of-10 shooting.  AU shot 18-of-60 (30.0%) from the field while Hilbert hit 25-of-53 (47.2%) shots.  Freshman Paige Hill (Tonawanda, NY/Tonawanda) set a career-high in rebounds (5) masking her mark of four rebounds last Saturday against D'Youville College.
 
The Saxons (0-5, E8 0-0) search for their first win of the season when they travel to Fredonia, NY to take on the Fredonia Blue Devils at 6PM.
