Maggie Weiers had 17 points and 17 rebounds and Jenna Dockter had 15 points and seven assists to lead No. 2-ranked St. Thomas to a 81-47 win over Hamline in MIAC women's basketball play Saturday at Schoenecker Arena.

The Tommies (25-0 overall, 18-0 MIAC) closed out a rare unbeaten regular season, just the third by a conference women's team and first at St. Thomas since the 1991-92 season.

UST averaged a 23-point margin of victory in its 12-0 home record. The Tommies have limited 24 of 25 foes to 58 or less points, with just two teams coming within 12 points.

Coach Ruth Sinn's squad shot 51 percent from the floor, including 11-of-24 from 3-point range. UST led by just eight points late in the first half but extended the halftime lead to 40-27 and pulled away in the final half.

Katie Stone scored 13 points and Anna Smith added 10. Six different players sank at least one 3-pointer for the winners. UST had a 46-28 rebounding edge.

Chelsey Bonsante scored 12 points to lead the Pipers (12-13, 7-11).

St. Thomas will play Thursday night at home in the MIAC playoff semifinals against either 4-5-6 seeds St. Mary's, Gustavus or Augsburg.
