At 6:07, Geneseo took a 21-11 lead after senior center Katie Peterson made a lay-up but the Cougars would cut the deficit to five, 21-16, with 4:43 left in the first half. The Knights responded by going on a 7-1 run to take a 11-point advantage, 28-17, into halftime.

Leading, 30-20, two minutes into the second half, Geneseo went on a 36-10 run to come away with the 39-point victory.

Misericordia was held to only 10 points in the second half as Geneseo shot 47.5 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Cougars, 45-29.
