Jenna Dockter finished with a game-high 16 points and added five assists as No. 2-ranked St. Thomas clinched the outright MIAC women's basketball championship with Saturday's 62-50 win at Concordia-Moorhead.

The Tommies (23-0 overall, 16-0 MIAC) improved to 11-0 in road games this season and claimed the program's 14th MIAC title, a league best. They broke to a 20-9 lead in the first 10 minutes, and the Cobbers never got closer than nine points in the second half.

The Toms helped force 20 turnovers and had a slight 44-29 rebounding edge. UST has held all 23 opponents under 60 points.

Maggie Weiers had 15 points and nine rebounds and now has 1,315 points and 808 rebounds in 113 games on her career.

The Toms play Wednesday at second-place Bethel and close the regular season Feb. 21 at home against Hamline.
