MEQUON, Wis. -- Alverno College fell to host Concordia University Wisconsin, 67-49, Friday evening in Mequon.

The Inferno shot just 20 percent in the opening half and trailed 40-15 at halftime. An improvement to 55 percent in the second half allowed Alverno to outscore the Falcons 34-27 in the period, but not enough to make up the first-half difference.

Nyakok Duop led the Inferno with 10 points on 5-of-11 shooting, and Alyssa Mane added seven points.

Concordia Wisconsin's Brianna Wagner led all scorers with 23 points, while Audrey Scharmer had a game-high 14 rebounds for the Falcons (18-6, 14-5 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference).

Alverno (5-19, 3-16 NACC) looks to snap its current four-game slide in the season finale on Tuesday at Aurora University.
