MILWAUKEE -- A slow start put Alverno College in an early hole the hosts couldn't recover from in an 86-53 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran College Saturday night at Reiman Gymnasium.

Mollie Mikyska led the Inferno with 16 points, and Alyssa Mane scored 12 off the bench for the rookie's career-high shooting 4-of-7 from the floor and 3-of-3 from the free-throw line.

The visiting Warriors (15-4, 13-2 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference) led 13-0 before Mane put the Inferno (4-15, 2-13 NACC) on the board with a jumper on the first possession after the under-16-minute timeout.

Wisconsin Lutheran was up 45-26 at halftime and used the cushion to roll to its NACC-leading 13th league win led by Kristen Schulz' 30 points, 17 rebounds and nine blocks.

Alverno will look to snap its current four-game skid as the team hits the road for a conference bout with Dominican University on Tuesday in River Forest, Illinois.
