Brooklyn, NY --- Freshman guard Chrissy Heyer has been named the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) & Eastern College Athletic Confernece (ECAC) Division III Metro Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week, for the week ending January 25th.

This past week, Heyer continued her recent solid play as of late, which has seen the Brooklyn native score in double figures in three straight games.

In BC's two games this past week, Heyer averaged 15.5 points per game, while logging in 21 minutes per contest in helping lead Brooklyn to a 2-0 week. She also added 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

Heyer sparked BC's offense coming off the bench in a 62-47 win over CCNY on January 21st with 15 points. Making her first career start in a 73-58 win over John Jay on January 23rd, Heyer poured in 16 points.
