(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The No. 2/3-ranked Thomas More College women's basketball team balanced scoring to defeat Westminster College, 110-38, today (Saturday, December 6, 2014) in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

With the win, the Saints remain undefeated at 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the PAC.  With the loss, the Titans fall to 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the PAC.

Thomas More jumped out to an early 25-11 lead when sophomore forward Kirsten Paul (Cincinnati, Ohio/Cincinnati Christian) made a jumper with 15:59 to play in the first half.  Westminster answered with a 6-2 run to cut the lead to 27-17 when Jenna Grandy made a three-pointer with 11:21 to play in the half.  The Saints closed out the half on a 27-2 run to take a 54-19 lead at halftime when senior guard Stephanie Krusling (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) made a three-pointer with five-seconds to play in the opening half.

The Saints continued to dominate in the second half as they out-scored the Titans 56-19 and won the game, 110-38.

All 13 Saints that dressed scored at least two point in the game and six Saints reached double-figure scoring.  Junior guard/forward Sydney Moss (St. Albans, W.Va./Boone County) led all scorers with 23 points.  Joining her in double-figure scoring was freshman guard Abby Owings (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) with 17, Paul with 14, junior guard Olivia Huber (Woodlawn, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) with 12, junior forward Sam Cady (St. Anthony, Minn./St. Anthony Village) with 11 and junior forward Alexa Santamaria (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) with 10.  Paul and Santamaria led the team on the boards with seven rebounds each, while Moss led the team in assists with eight and steals with five.

Thomas More is idle until December 19 when it travels to Williamsburg, Kentucky to play the University of the Cumberlands at 2 p.m.
