READING, Pa. -- Junior Kelecia Harris scored 25 points in the second half en route to a career-high 29 points to lead the Albright women's basketball team to a 82-72 non-conference victory over visiting Keystone on Saturday afternoon inside the Bollman Center.

Harris finished the game 12-of-19 from the floor and 5-of-7 from the free throw line to post the most points scored by an Albright player since Bre Dillon also scored 29 points against Messiah in 2009. Harris also added a team-high 12 rebounds, a blocked shot and a steal.

The Lions (2-1) led by three at the half 35-32 as junior Emily O'Donnell came off the bench to score 11 points as Harris was on the court for just five minutes due to two quick fouls in the first 20 minutes. Alyssa Cuomo paced the Giants (2-2) with 12 points in the first half.

Harris scored the first six points after the break for Albright, foreshadowing her dominating second half performance, but Keystone kept the game close and took a 62-61 lead with 6:29 to play.

The Lions responded with a 6-0 run to build the lead back to five at 67-62.

Keystone responded with back-to-back baskets to cut the Lion lead to 7-66 with 3:45 to play in the game.

Shannon Thomas sparked an 8-0 run when she made two free-throws and hit a three-point shot, and a Harris layup and free throw made it 75-66 with 2:30 to play.

Another three-point play by Harris and four free-throws from Jessica Venturelli salted the game away for Albright.

The Albright defense forced 19 turnovers and held Keystone's Ashley Evans to only 11 points, 20 points below her season average of 31.0 points in the Giants first three games.

O'Donnell finished with 15 points and five rebounds, while Venturelli added 13 to go along with four assists and three boards and Kadijah Bishop scored all seven of her points in the first half and finished with nine rebounds.

Cuomo was the leading scorer for Keystone with 22, Jazmyn Robinson chipped in with 12 and Cierra Hensley collected a double-double with 12 rebounds and 10 points.

The Lions head to Cabrini College on Tuesday night for a 6:30 tip-off.
