Baruch Defeats CCNY (81-37), Four Players Score in Double-Figures

The Baruch College Bearcats scored the first 16 points and never looked back en route to an 81-37 CUNYAC home victory over the Beavers of CCNY on Friday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats (17-7, 13-3 CUNYAC) will finish their regular season schedule on President's Day, Monday, February 17, with a 6:00 pm non-conference contest at Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh, New York.

The team is confirmed to host a CUNYAC Tournament Championship quarterfinal on Sunday, February 23, at 3:00 pm in the ARC Arena. The exact opponent will not available until the conference schedule is completed early next week.

Iyana Abrams led the Bearcats this evening with 14 points (4-6 fg) and five assists. Kristen Podlovits, who scored the first five points of the game, finished with 11 points and two assists.

Francess Henry (11 rebounds) and Alicea Ulmer (14 rebounds) rounded out the double-figure scorer with 10 points each.

The Bearcats dominated the boards with a 68-44 advantage and scored 31 points off 26 turnovers.

Bria Fisher led the visitors, who shot 22 percent (13-for-60), with 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
