NORTON, Mass. – Wheaton College sophomore forward Kiley Shoemaker (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) posted her eighth double-double of the season collecting 26 points and 19 rebounds, both career-highs, to guide the Lyons over Clark University, 76-56, on Saturday afternoon in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's basketball action.

Shoemaker fell two rebounds shy of tying the single-game rebounding record which is shared by Wheaton College Athletics Hall Yowell Hall of Fame member Ann Zarchen Knoblock '81 and junior forward Abbie Brickley (Sandy, Utah/Skyline). Brickley tied Knoblock's mark on January 9 against MIT in a 60-59 loss. Until this season, Knoblock's record went unmatched for nearly 33 years.

Junior guard Laura Pierce (Hampstead, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) turned in a game-high seven assists to bump the Lyons' record to 12-1 when she dishes out five or more in a contest.

Brennan poured in 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting from the field and Condon contributed ten points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. Senior guard Emily Reilly (Marlborough, Mass./Marlborough) also chipped in with nine points, three boards and three assists.

The Lyons raced out to an 11-1 lead 4:19 after the opening tip-off as Arnone notched five points, junior guard Kirsten Ferrari (Lynn, Mass./Saint Mary's) produced four points and Shoemaker put home a layup at the 16:25 mark. Wheaton led by as many as 16 points (27-11) with 9:25 remaining in the first half before the hosts headed into the break with a 36-24 advantage.
