Baruch Improves to 6-1 & 4-0 CUNYAC With 78-51 Win Over York

The Baruch College Bearcats defeated the Cardinals of York College, 78-51, in a CUNYAC contest played on Friday night in Jamaica, New York.

The visiting Bearcats forced 42 turnovers and led from start to finish to conclude their first half schedule before the final exam/holiday break with a 6-1 record and 4-0 mark in the CUNYAC.

The entire available roster saw action this evening with Alicea Ulmer leading the way with 18 points by shooting 8-of-12 from the field. Francess Henry scored 15 points, four assists asnd two steals.

Iyana Abrams had one of her most memorable games with 12 points, five assists, four rebounds and a career-high and team-record nine steals.  

Malika Rose Abdusalaam came off the bench to score nine points and six rebounds.

Kristen Podlovits (three steals) and Lynda Fields (four steals) finished with seven points each in the road victory.

The Bearcats capitalized on the victory by scoring 40 points off the 42 turnovers.
