BRYN ATHYN (PA) – Delaware Valley College placed six players in double figures in scoring as the Aggies pulled away to an 83-55, non-conference victory at Bryn Athyn College.

With the win, Delaware Valley got back to the .500 mark at 3-3 while the Lions fell to 3-2.

The Aggies were up 15-9 when they went on a 13-4 spurt to increase the lead to 15 with 7:41 left in the first half. Eireann Anastasi and Kelsey Kilpatrick keyed the run with six and five points respectively.

Delaware Valley was still up 13 with 4:55 to go when Bryn Athyn scored 16 of the final 21 points of the half to trail by just two, 36-34. The Lions then took a one-point lead as Keana Schoenagle hit a 3-pointer 50 seconds into the second stanza.

The rest of the game belonged to the Aggies as they scored seven straight and turned it into a 23-6 run, including a combined 11 points from Brenna Coll and Brittany Wood, for a 59-43 advantage with 10:51 remaining. They later held Bryn Athyn without a point for six minutes while scoring 11 of their own for the biggest lead of the game, 81-51, with 2:01 on the clock.

Delaware Valley connected on 42.7 percent of its shots from the field, including a 14-for-29 effort (48.3%) from beyond the 3-point line. Meanwhile, the Aggies held the Lions to just 26.2 percent shooting from the field, including 4-for-22 (18.3%) from downtown.

All 11 healthy players took the court for Delaware Valley. Anastasi led the balanced attack with 13 points while Wood followed with 12 points. Coll notched 11 points, six rebounds and three assists while Agatha Drozd had 10 points. Kilpatrick came off the bench to pour in 11 points and Bridget Sobon tallied 10 points and seven assists in just 17 minutes of action. Shannon Barlow added eight points and a team-high nine rebounds in the win.

Kristina Clark had game-highs of 23 points and 15 rebounds for Bryn Athyn. Taylor Davis and Hajaaha Stevens had seven points and 14 rebounds apiece.
