PITTSBURGH, PA – La Roche women's basketball (5-0) cruised to an 82-42 victory over Chatham (1-5) in their home opener on Sunday evening. The win is their fourteenth straight at home.

Four Lady Redhawks reached double figures including Casie Cygan who led all scorers with 28 points. MacKenzie O'Donnell registered her second double-double of the season with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Danasha Harris had a terrific game and finished with 12 points, 19 boards (11 offensive), and 6 steals. Shataya White had 10 points and 7 rebounds and Leslie McPherson, Gloria Schifino, and Macy Pekala each had four assists.

La Roche outrebounded Chatham 45-26 including 21-8 on the offensive glass. They also outscored the Cougars in the paint (68-24), off of turnovers (32-9), and forced 30 turnovers.

La Roche women's basketball will travel to Penn State Altoona on Wednesday for their AMCC opener. Last season, the Lady Redhawks beat Penn State Altoona 81-36 at the Kerr Fitness Center.
