#24 Baruch Defeats Medgar Evers on Senior Night, Clinch 1st Place in CUNYAC

The #24-ranked Baruch College Bearcats defeated the Cougars of Medgar Evers College, 82-35, in a CUNYAC contest played on Tuesday in the ARC Arena.

Prior to the game, the Baruch women's basketball team honored seniors
Jessica Dulebaand Fanta Condeon Senior Night for their successful contributions to the women's basketball program.

The victory helps the team clinch the #1 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championship Tournament. They also win the regular season championship (first place) for the fifth time in six years to finish the regular season portion of their schedule with a 23-2 record and 15-1 mark in the CUNYAC.

The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, February 16, with a 2:00 pm CUNYAC playoff quarterfinal home contest in the ARC Arena against an opponent to be announced.

The entire tournament schedule will be available late tomorrow afternoon following the CUNYAC Basketball Awards Luncheon at the Water Club Restaurant in lower Manhattan.

The Bearcats were led in the victory this evening by Duleba with 20 points and nine rebounds.
Francess Henryscored 19 points and Sheridan Taylorfinished with a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Dona Sansone(4-6 fg) and Imani Davidson(five rebounds) finished with eight points each.

Imani Mason led the visiting Cougars with 14 points, eight rebounds and three steals.
